Room for Improvement

Concept development for an urban exhibition for the design competition INDEX: Award.

With the exhibition INDEX: Design to Improve Life wishes to inspire people all over the world with the 60 competing design proposals. The project is based on a study of spatial effects that appear to remove the initial skepticism, we have when we are in an urban environment. Simple wall elements of colorless, translucent acrylic create a labyrinthine space. The installation is a visually quiet zone within the complexity of the public space. Silhouettes of people attract more people. Projected silhouettes of people that write and draw conveys the clear messages of the complex design projects. The viewer can also put his or her vision on the big walls, while some good stories are developed furhter.
