Interior design for Gloria – a small art cinema located in the center of Copenhagen.

The desired atmosphere is to be a unique and intimate balance between unusual and mainstream. The cinema attracts attention with a neon sign and display cases. From the entrance in the dark basement, cinema guests are led a narrow passage that creates a spatial sequence with gradient, high tables and warm lighting. At the end is the bright and spacious cafe, where new benches provide additional seating. The café appears clean and simple. To contrast this, mirrors behind the bar create visual tricks with the customers. The graphics are continued throughout, from the neon sign, to the toilet signs, programmes and movie reviews.
